Bahrain Bourse, in partnership with the Arab Federation of Capital Markets (AFCM), will host “The Market 2.0” on 20 November 2025, under the theme “Disruptive Digital Transformation in Capital Markets.” Held under the patronage of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the event aims to explore how emerging technologies are reshaping market efficiency, inclusivity, and sustainability.
The conference is expected to bring together 300+ participants and 18 global and regional speakers, including exchanges, regulators, brokers, financial institutions, and technology leaders. The program will feature keynote remarks from Yusef Al-Yusef, Chairman of Bahrain Bourse, followed by expert-led sessions on strengthening market depth, enhancing liquidity, advancing regulatory frameworks, and leveraging innovation enablers such as regulatory sandboxes.
Panels will include insights from HE Khalid Humaidan, Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain, alongside CEOs from regional stock exchanges discussing the next wave of financial market technologies. Event leadership emphasized that the conference reflects Bahrain’s commitment to strengthening its capital markets sector in alignment with Vision 2030, reinforcing its role as a hub for regional and international market dialogue.
