Zong 4G has partnered with the JDC Foundation to broaden access to free medical diagnostic services for underserved communities in Karachi. Through this collaboration, Zong 4G will fully cover the cost of medical tests conducted at JDC’s diagnostic centres, enabling the organisation to increase its capacity and offer a wider range of essential screenings at no charge.
The initiative aims to ensure that low-income individuals receive timely and accurate diagnostic support—an essential component for early detection, treatment planning, and overall community health. JDC operates one of the city’s busiest free diagnostic facilities, serving thousands daily. With growing demand, Zong’s support will help the foundation reach even more patients, particularly those who rely heavily on routine blood work and other basic medical tests.
Zong 4G said the partnership reflects its long-standing commitment to supporting public welfare through impactful CSR programmes. Officials believe the initiative will significantly ease the financial burden on vulnerable groups, especially those managing chronic illnesses or requiring regular diagnostics.
