Grameenphone has signed an agreement with Bangladesh Satellite Company Limited to introduce Starlink’s next-generation satellite internet solutions to corporate customers across Bangladesh. The partnership targets industries where terrestrial networks remain limited but demand for high-availability, low-latency, and mission-critical connectivity is high.
Through this collaboration, Grameenphone’s B2B clients—particularly those in remote energy fields, coastal operations, maritime zones, and border-area deployments—will gain access to seamless, high-speed satellite broadband capable of supporting resilient, always-on operations.
The agreement was signed at GPHouse by Yasir Azman and Muhammad Imadur Rahman, with senior officials from both organizations present. Asif Naimur Rashid highlighted that the partnership strengthens Grameenphone’s enterprise portfolio and supports business continuity for customers operating in hard-to-reach areas. Rahman emphasized that expanding satellite broadband for enterprise users will reinforce Bangladesh’s digital backbone and ensure uninterrupted communication for critical operations.
