Orange Jordan Marks International Day of Persons with Disabilities by Renaming Its Network to “Inclusion”

Orange Jordan has announced that it will temporarily change its network name to “Inclusion” for one week starting 1 December, in recognition of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. This marks the second consecutive year the company has taken this symbolic step to reinforce its commitment to digital inclusion and equal access for all.

The initiative supports Orange Jordan’s comprehensive programme, Differently Abled, Definitely Enabled, which focuses on empowering persons with disabilities across the country. The global UN theme this year — “Fostering disability inclusive societies for advancing social progress” — aligns with the company’s efforts to integrate persons with disabilities into all aspects of digital and social life.

Orange Jordan emphasized that the network name change highlights its broader CSR mission, built on three pillars: ensuring accessibility to digital services, building strong community partnerships, and promoting an inclusive culture. These efforts aim to help youth, women, and persons with disabilities participate fully in the digital ecosystem.

The company described the move as part of a long-term strategic commitment to inclusive digital leadership, supporting innovations that enhance independence, accessibility, and empowerment for persons with disabilities across Jordan.

The initiative also reflects the wider vision of the Orange Group, whose global strategy focuses on responsible, ethical transformation powered by high-quality digital services.
