Bahrain Marina Development Company (BMDC), the master developer of the landmark Bahrain Marina project on Manama’s eastern waterfront, has signed a strategic partnership with Batelco by Beyon to provide integrated internal and external GSM communication services across the entire development. The collaboration aims to significantly enhance mobile and internet coverage throughout all project facilities and surrounding areas.
The agreement was formalised during Cityscape Bahrain 2025 in the presence of Eng. Hisham Almoayyed, Acting CEO and Head of Project Development at BMDC; Abdulla Danesh, General Manager Enterprise at Batelco by Beyon; and senior representatives from both organisations.
Eng. Hisham Almoayyed said the partnership marks a major milestone in Bahrain Marina’s commitment to adopting advanced technologies that elevate the resident and visitor experience. He emphasised the project’s ambition to create a modern, smart residential and commercial community where architectural innovation is paired with high-performance digital solutions.
He added that partnering with one of Bahrain’s leading telecom providers reinforces the development’s alignment with national digital-economy goals and sets a new benchmark for next-generation real estate projects in the Kingdom.
Batelco by Beyon’s General Manager Enterprise, Abdulla Danesh, highlighted the company’s pride in supporting one of Bahrain’s most prominent developments. He said the agreement enables the delivery of a fully integrated telecommunications network offering seamless, reliable digital experiences for residents and visitors, strengthening Bahrain Marina’s positioning as a technologically advanced destination at both national and regional levels.
