Vodafone Qatar’s executive leadership has conducted on-site visits to key telecommunications network locations as part of the company’s ongoing commitment to health, safety, and employee wellbeing. The visits were carried out under the oversight of Acting Chief Administrative Officer Abdulla A. Al-Misnad and Chief Technology Officer Ramy Boctor.
During the tour, executives met with field teams, received operational briefings, and reviewed critical safety controls covering work at height, lifting operations, electrical isolation, radio frequency exposure, permit-to-work processes, and emergency preparedness. The leadership team also engaged directly with frontline crews to reinforce Vodafone Qatar’s ‘8 Absolute Safety Rules’ and wellbeing initiatives, ensuring alignment with internal standards and local regulatory requirements.
The initiative was designed to strengthen the company’s safety culture, encourage proactive reporting of hazards and near-miss incidents, and highlight the direct connection between safe working practices and network resilience during maintenance and upgrade activities.
Al-Misnad emphasized that health, safety, and employee wellbeing are fundamental to Vodafone Qatar’s operations, noting that network performance and customer trust depend on work being carried out safely and consistently. Boctor added that on-site engagement enables leadership to reinforce safe behaviours, understand operational challenges, and ensure safety practices reflect real-world conditions, supporting both workforce protection and national connectivity.
The visit underscored executive ownership of health and safety while reaffirming Vodafone Qatar’s commitment to delivering reliable services through safe and responsible operations.
