Oman has emerged as a standout contributor in talabat’s first-ever Giving Back Impact Report, reinforcing the Sultanate’s strong culture of generosity and growing adoption of digital philanthropy. According to the report, customers and partners in Oman donated a total of OMR 555,404.79 through talabat’s in-app donation feature, with 60,091 participants supporting charitable causes.
The contribution positions Oman as a key driver of talabat’s social impact agenda across the Middle East and North Africa. Overall, the Giving Back programme raised €1.4 million and delivered more than 330,000 meals across the region in the third quarter of 2025, establishing talabat as one of the largest digital charity aggregators in MENA.
Commenting on the results, Stéphane Berton, Managing Director of talabat Oman, said that Oman’s contribution, accounting for nearly a quarter of all regional donations, reflects a clear shift toward a more digital and future-ready approach to giving. The programme enables users to support a wide range of causes directly within the app, aligning with changing consumer behaviour and the rise of technology-driven social impact initiatives.
In Oman, the programme is supported by eight local charity partners and has facilitated 8,901 meal donations to date. The country’s engagement forms part of a broader regional effort, including talabat’s expanded Together for Gaza initiative, aimed at strengthening humanitarian relief across multiple markets.
As talabat continues to integrate purpose, innovation, and community impact into its platform, the Giving Back Impact Report highlights how digital ecosystems are reshaping charitable giving and creating scalable social impact across the region.
