Salam Strengthens Support for Entrepreneurship as Strategic Sponsor of DeveGo 25

Etihad Salam Telecom Company (Salam) has announced its participation as a Strategic Sponsor of DeveGo 25, the Entrepreneurship and Modern Business Practices Forum, being held at the King Abdulaziz Convention Center in Riyadh from December 21 to 23, 2025. The forum is organised in collaboration with the Social Development Bank and held under the patronage of Eng. Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al Rajhi, Minister of Human Resources and Social Development and Chairman of the Bank’s Board of Directors.

DeveGo 25 brings together entrepreneurs, innovators, and business leaders to explore the future of entrepreneurship and evolving work models in Saudi Arabia. Through its sponsorship, Salam aims to support national efforts to empower entrepreneurs, encourage innovation, and contribute to economic diversification aligned with Vision 2030.

Ahmed Al-Anqari, Chief Executive Officer of Etihad Salam Telecom Company, said entrepreneurship is central to Salam’s long-term growth strategy. He noted that supporting platforms like DeveGo 25 allows the company to play an active role in enabling new business creation and building a more resilient Saudi economy.

As part of its involvement, Salam is sponsoring the Salam Award for Promising Projects, an initiative designed to spotlight innovative ideas from entrepreneurs and early-stage startups. Participants are invited to submit a creative pitch video of up to 60 seconds explaining their project, published on social media using the hashtag #SalamAward. Submissions are reviewed by a dedicated committee, with selected winners invited to Riyadh for recognition during the forum.

The award reflects Salam’s broader commitment to fostering innovation and accelerating the growth of emerging businesses across the Kingdom. DeveGo 25 will also feature panel discussions, workshops, and interactive sessions aimed at translating ideas into scalable, real-world opportunities within Saudi Arabia’s entrepreneurship ecosystem.
