Bangladesh’s Chattogram Port Authority (CPA) has launched a new digital platform, ‘Port Single Window—CPA SKY’, marking a significant step toward smart port operations and a fully paperless workflow. The initiative aims to streamline export-import procedures by integrating services related to customs, port operations, and trade processes into a single digital interface.
The platform is designed to simplify documentation, improve transparency, and significantly enhance operational efficiency, with authorities estimating performance improvements of three to five times compared to existing processes. Users can now access all required services through one system, reducing processing time and administrative complexity.
CPA SKY also introduces real-time monitoring capabilities through a digital radar and automated vessel tracking system, enabling live visibility of vessel movements and improving coordination across port operations.
The launch reflects Bangladesh’s broader push toward digitalisation of trade infrastructure, positioning Chattogram Port to handle growing cargo volumes more efficiently while supporting faster and more transparent international trade operations.
