Orange Money, the electronic wallet service owned by Orange Jordan, sponsored the Digital Payments Forum hosted by the United Nations Development Programme in partnership with the Central Bank of Jordan and the Better Than Cash Alliance.
Held in Sweimeh in the Dead Sea region, the forum brought together 100 participants from the municipalities of Sweimeh, Deir Alla, Tabaqat Fahl, and Sharhabil bin Hassneh. Among them were 65 women entrepreneurs, farmers, and community activists.
The event focused on advancing digital financial inclusion, with training sessions aimed at empowering women, farmers, and small-scale producers in rural and agricultural communities.
