HRSD and Sumerge complete three digital transformation projects in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD) has completed three major digital transformation initiatives in collaboration with technology partner Sumerge as part of the Kingdom’s broader digital modernization agenda.

The projects aim to improve public services, strengthen internal operational efficiency, and support social development programs aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 strategy.

One of the key initiatives is the Social Development Platform, designed to enhance citizen-centric services by streamlining service delivery and improving engagement between citizens and service providers.

Another project, the Residential Care Services Development initiative, introduced improvements to support individuals with disabilities by enhancing the services and programs available to them.

The third project, the Integrated Services initiative, focuses on improving internal operations within the ministry, including governance frameworks, operational efficiency, and process management.

According to HRSD, these initiatives represent transformative national projects that demonstrate the ministry’s commitment to advancing digital government services across the Kingdom.

The project milestones were recently celebrated at an event attended by leaders from both organizations, including Sumerge CEO Shady Abdelwahab and HRSD Deputy Minister for Digital Transformation Faisal Bakhshwein.

Founded in 2005, Sumerge is an IT consulting and software development company headquartered in Egypt, with offices in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
