Sri Lanka Telecom: ‘Smart Chat Mega 2026’ Emerges as Catalyst for SME Digital Transformation in Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka Telecom, through its SLT-MOBITEL Enterprise arm, is driving SME digital transformation with its flagship initiative, SmartChat Mega 2026, aimed at accelerating the adoption of AI and digital solutions across small and medium businesses.

Held in Colombo, the event brought together 500 SMEs for a hands-on experience of tailored digital tools and one-on-one consultations with SLT-MOBITEL experts. The initiative focused on helping businesses identify and implement technology solutions aligned with their specific operational needs.

The event featured 12 dedicated solution hubs covering key areas such as AI-driven business tools, e-commerce, cloud solutions, IoT-enabled smart offices, cybersecurity, connectivity, and enterprise mobility. These showcases demonstrated how integrated digital ecosystems can improve efficiency, streamline operations, and enhance business performance.

Participants gained practical insights into adopting scalable technologies, supported by expert guidance and end-to-end service offerings. The initiative highlighted the growing importance of combining AI, cloud, and connectivity solutions to enable smarter and more resilient business models.

Through SmartChat Mega 2026, SLT-MOBITEL reinforced its role as a national ICT enabler, supporting SMEs in building competitive, future-ready operations in an increasingly digital economy.
