Algeria’s Yassir expands into adtech with Kawarizmi acquisition

Yassir has acquired Paris-based adtech firm Kawarizmi to strengthen its push into retail media and programmatic advertising. The move will enable the super app to better monetize its first-party data and build a scalable advertising ecosystem across Europe, MENA, and Africa.

Kawarizmi brings expertise in algorithmic media buying, performance optimization, and cross-market execution. Its capabilities will support Yassir’s expansion beyond its core services—mobility, delivery, and fintech—into high-growth advertising channels including mobile, connected TV, and the open web.

The acquisition positions Yassir to evolve into a data-driven platform, unlocking new revenue streams while deepening partnerships with global brands and advertisers.
