Muscat – The Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation (MoHERI) will hold a graduation ceremony on Wednesday morning for 56 trainees from the Mobile Phone and Tablet Repair Programme. The event will take place under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Muna bint Salem al Jardaniyah, the Undersecretary for Vocational Training at MoHERI, in the conference hall at the Ministry’s headquarters.
This program highlights a successful collaboration between the ministry and the private sector, with funding provided by the Oman LNG Development Foundation (ODF). The graduating cohort comprises 21 male and 35 female trainees.
The Mobile Phone and Tablet Repair Programme aims to empower youth by equipping them with advanced technical skills essential for success in the smart device maintenance sector. The initiative supports innovation and entrepreneurship, aligns training with labor market demands, and fosters community partnerships to contribute to the national economy.
