Manama, Bahrain – Beyon, a leading telecom and technology group in Bahrain, has announced a significant milestone in its sustainability efforts with the launch of the region’s first off-grid mobile site powered entirely by renewable energy. The off-grid mobile site utilizes a combination of solar and wind energy to operate independently of traditional power sources. This innovative solution results in a substantial reduction of carbon emissions, estimated at 280 tonnes annually, and conserves 400 MWh of energy per site.
