Orange Jordan concluded its participation in the tenth edition of the MENA ICT Forum 2024, organized by the Information and Communications Technology Association of Jordan (INT@J), with remarkable success. The event served as an excellent platform for Orange to engage with industry experts, leaders, and the public, showcasing its cutting-edge solutions and unwavering support for entrepreneurs.
During the forum, Orange Jordan’s CEO, Philippe Mansour, participated in the panel discussion titled “Pioneering the Future: Innovation and Regulation in Telecommunications.” Mansour highlighted the advancements in the telecom sector and discussed how current capabilities are empowering industry leaders to shape the future. He also emphasized the critical role of supporting startups and the entrepreneurial ecosystem to elevate the telecom landscape.
True to its commitment to innovation, Orange’s pavilion featured a wide array of digital solutions, including internet and telecommunication services, Smart Life solutions, 5G experiences through mixed reality, fiber experiences with virtual reality, and virtual reality hospitals. The company also partnered with Trismart International Trading, one of the leading providers of protective devices in Jordan, to showcase its products at the event, which attracted over 3,000 visitors.
In addition to introducing new technologies, Orange’s second pavilion featured a range of exciting innovations, such as the “Mars-JO Rover” device, designed and built in the Fabrication Labs for educational purposes. This initiative sparked the curiosity of attendees, especially about how digital innovations can enrich knowledge and experiences for both females and males. The pavilion also displayed innovative projects from the Orange Summer Challenge.
Orange Jordan continued to demonstrate its dedication to supporting entrepreneurs through interactive sessions, offering valuable opportunities for startups to engage with the audience, exchange knowledge, and attract potential investments. The forum’s Startup Village Arabia provided a dedicated space for startups and entrepreneurs to present their products and services. Among the startups present were those from BIG by Orange and the Orange AI Incubator, both of which operate under the umbrella of Orange Digital Centers.
At the closing ceremony, Orange was honored with the Impact Award in the “Digital Skills Development” category. This award recognizes companies that make a positive and sustainable impact on society. Orange received this accolade for its comprehensive community programs under the Orange Digital Centers (ODC), aimed at enhancing and enriching the digital skills of both females and males across the Kingdom of Jordan.
