Manama, Bahrain – In a significant move to celebrate Bahraini Women’s Day, stc Bahrain, a digital enabler, has introduced its Women’s Empowerment Committee. This initiative signifies a strong commitment to promoting gender equality and advancing women within the organization and in the broader community.
The newly formed committee will focus on addressing barriers to gender equality, attracting and supporting women at all levels, raising awareness about unconscious bias, recommending policy changes, and providing resources for women’s professional growth and success.
Eng. Fahad Alowaini, Chief Human Resources Officer, emphasized the importance of this initiative: “Empowering women is crucial in building a robust and innovative organization. This committee will drive positive change both within stc Bahrain and the wider community.”
To mark Bahraini Women’s Day, the committee has partnered with prominent Bahraini businesswomen to host a special event for the female community. This event will kick off a series of initiatives aimed at enhancing the role of women in the workplace and achieving the committee’s goals.
