Intella has raised $12.5 million in an oversubscribed Series A led by Prosus, boosting its total funding to $16.9 million. The Arabic AI leader will use the capital for R&D, expansion in Egypt and Saudi Arabia, and scaling its AI-powered workforce across multiple sectors.
Wittify.ai raised $1.5 million from Saudi angel investors to develop AI agents with advanced Arabic speech recognition and text-to-speech across 25 dialects. The startup aims to empower businesses in MENA with no-code AI tools, advancing regional expansion and product innovation.
The UAE launched Falcon Arabic, a native Arabic AI model built on a high-quality dataset, matching the performance of larger models while reducing computational demands.
