Personal Data Protection Law

Bangladesh’s interim government is taking legal measures to prevent future internet shutdowns, including recognizing internet access as a citizen’s right, amending the Telecommunications Act, and canceling SOPs for shutdowns. Additionally, a draft of the Personal Data Protection Act will be made available by May for public consultation.
