Bahrain to Host International ITU Digital Skills Forum

Bahrain is set to host the esteemed International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Digital Skills Forum from September 17-19, under the auspices of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA). The forum aims to convene global leaders, policymakers, industry experts, and educators to discuss the pivotal role of digital skills in fostering sustainable development.

Philip Marnick, General Director of TRA, highlighted the nation’s commitment to digital advancement. “Bahrain is poised to spearhead a digital-first economic strategy, and hosting the ITU Digital Skills Forum is a prime reflection of our strategic national goals. This forum is a crucial platform for global experts to collaborate towards empowering individuals with essential digital skills,” stated Marnick.
