JEDDAH: King Abdulaziz University’s College of Science has launched a new student exchange program with the University of Oxford in the UK, aimed at providing students with cutting-edge knowledge in AI technologies. The program will focus on areas such as cybersecurity, data science, and software development, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The initiative will include expert-led discussions, workshops, and lectures on technology and AI, while fostering new agreements and partnerships to enhance student training. The program encourages students to transform their research projects into practical, real-world solutions.
During the launch, outstanding undergraduate and postgraduate research projects were showcased, inspiring young entrepreneurs to explore the practical applications of their work.
King Abdulaziz University recently received global recognition by winning a gold medal at the 9th International Invention Innovation Competition in Canada. The university’s project “Fasyla,” which promotes collaboration with companies to optimize plant cultivation, also earned a special award from the World Invention Intellectual Property Associations and the best video presentation award among 700 participants.
