Saudi Arabia has initiated the “One Million Saudi in AI” program, as announced by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA). This groundbreaking national effort, led by the Minister of Education Yousef bin Abdullah Al Benyan and Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) President Abdullah bin Sharaf Alghamdi, aims to educate one million Saudi citizens on artificial intelligence. The announcement was made during the third Global AI Summit (GAIN Summit 2024) at the King Abdulaziz International Convention Centre in Riyadh, in collaboration with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.
The initiative seeks to equip a million Saudis with the knowledge to navigate an AI-driven world, enhancing human capabilities and fostering a future where AI is integrated into business and everyday life safely and ethically.
