du Unveils du Tech and du Infra to Drive B2B Digital Transformation in the UAE

Following the announcements of du Business and du Pay, du has now introduced two new sub-brands, du Tech and du Infra, marking a major evolution of its Business-to-Business (B2B) offerings. This strategic overhaul positions du as a comprehensive digital services enabler for businesses and government entities, going beyond traditional telecom services.

Fahad Al Hassawi, CEO of du, emphasized the importance of this transformation, stating: “du is no longer just a connectivity provider. We are evolving into an integrated digital services enabler. The launch of du Tech and du Infra demonstrates our commitment to leading the UAE’s digital transformation. We are actively shaping the UAE’s digital future.”

The newly revamped B2B portfolio aims to meet the growing demand for advanced digital solutions in the UAE. The introduction of du Tech and du Infra complements the existing du Business brand, which provides end-to-end connectivity solutions powered by du’s 5G and fiber network. The new sub-brands will offer specialized digital transformation services, empowering organizations to thrive in the rapidly evolving digital landscape.

At a media briefing, Jasim Al Awadi, Chief ICT Officer at du, detailed the new offerings. du Tech will drive the company’s advanced ICT services, catering to sectors like government, large enterprises, and SMEs. Its offerings include data centers, hybrid cloud, cybersecurity, IoT, AI, and blockchain, all aimed at building a secure, sustainable, and agile digital future in line with the UAE’s ambitions.

Meanwhile, du Infra will provide the essential network infrastructure to support businesses and government entities in their digital transformation journeys. It will ensure seamless and secure data flow, enabling organizations to confidently innovate and optimize their operations.

Since its launch in 2007, du has been an industry pioneer, bringing competition to the UAE telecom market. Over the years, du has expanded to offer fixed and mobile networks as well as ICT solutions. In 2021, the company introduced du Business, focusing on specialized solutions for enterprise clients.

Now, the addition of du Tech and du Infra marks the next phase of du’s transformation. du Tech will focus on delivering advanced ICT services, while du Infra will provide the critical infrastructure necessary to support emerging technologies like autonomous driving and AI.

The company also announced plans to offer hyperscale cloud services through a collaboration with Oracle. Together, they will deploy Oracle Alloy, a sovereign cloud solution that will allow du to offer a wide range of cloud services across the UAE. This infrastructure will also include AI capabilities, designed to make AI more accessible for SMEs.

Al Hassawi reaffirmed the company’s commitment to this transformation: “We are becoming more specialized and better equipped to meet our customers’ evolving needs. This transformation is about empowering our customers to shape their own digital futures, and we are positioning ourselves as a stronger player for the future.”

With these new developments, du aims to create dynamic digital ecosystems that align with both professional and personal aspirations, continuing to play a pivotal role in the UAE’s journey toward a digitally advanced future.
