Oman Data Park Signs Strategic MOUs to Drive Digital Transformation Across Key Sectors

Oman Data Park (ODP), the leading provider of cybersecurity and cloud solutions in the Sultanate, has signed three strategic Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), Oman National Energy Investment Company (ONIEC), and NTG, marking a significant step in advancing Oman’s digital transformation. These agreements span the banking, energy, and cloud services sectors, reinforcing ODP’s role in shaping Oman’s digital infrastructure.

CEO Eng. Maqbool Al Wahaibi emphasized ODP’s commitment to providing secure, scalable cloud solutions and empowering organizations across various industries. The MOU with FAB will establish a Disaster Recovery (DR) site and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) Centre to enhance operational resilience and ensure uninterrupted financial services.

In collaboration with ONIEC, ODP will host a smart metering solution to monitor energy consumption across Oman, supporting national sustainability goals and driving efficiency in power usage. ODP’s partnership with NTG will expand access to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) products, enabling businesses across Oman to accelerate cloud adoption and digital transformation.

Through these partnerships, ODP continues to strengthen its position as a key enabler of Oman’s digital economy, supporting businesses with advanced cloud technologies and cybersecurity solutions to foster long-term growth and innovation.
