Orange Jordan, in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship (MoDEE), has officially launched the incubation phase for 100 finalist entrepreneurial ideas participating in the Entrepreneurship Hackathon 2024. This initiative is part of the General Entrepreneurship Policy projects implemented across the country, aimed at empowering entrepreneurs with the skills, mentorship, and resources needed to enhance the success and sustainable growth of their projects.
The incubation phase, which will be supported by Orange Incubators under the umbrella of Orange Digital Centers (ODC), provides entrepreneurs with training, mentoring, networking opportunities, and logistical support. This is designed to increase the likelihood of success for the participants’ projects.
During a reception day at the Innovation Hub in Orange Digital Village, Orange Jordan welcomed the entrepreneurs who advanced to this phase. The event, attended by representatives from MoDEE and Orange Jordan, highlighted the key areas of support available to participants. These include sectors such as agricultural technology, education, renewable energy, and tourism. Discussions also focused on the critical role the incubation phase plays in helping startups grow and expand, with new opportunities being created for entrepreneurs to take their businesses further.
Orange Jordan emphasized the importance of the incubation phase in equipping entrepreneurs with the skills and guidance they need to turn their ideas into viable, scalable projects that contribute to national development. The company reiterated its commitment to empowering innovators and entrepreneurs throughout Jordan, expanding its efforts to nurture a new generation of leaders who can positively impact the country’s key sectors.
