Solix Technologies, a global provider of enterprise data management and information lifecycle governance solutions, has announced a strategic partnership with Computer Arabia to accelerate data modernization initiatives across Qatar. The collaboration is aimed at helping organizations modernize legacy systems, strengthen data governance, improve regulatory compliance, and build AI-ready data platforms.
Computer Arabia, established in 1979 and part of the Teyseer Group, is one of Qatar’s most established IT service providers, serving sectors including government, telecom, banking, energy, education, and large enterprises. Through the partnership, Computer Arabia will deliver Solix’s full portfolio of solutions, including enterprise and database archiving, SAP archiving, information lifecycle management, eDiscovery, unstructured data management, application retirement, and Solix Enterprise Cloud.
The joint offering is designed to help enterprises reduce storage and infrastructure costs, securely migrate to hybrid and cloud environments, retire outdated applications with minimal disruption, and manage structured and unstructured data at scale. A key focus of the partnership is enabling organizations to establish governed, compliant data foundations that support advanced analytics and artificial intelligence initiatives.
Solix said the partnership combines its global technology platforms with Computer Arabia’s deep local expertise and delivery capabilities, aligning with Qatar’s growing focus on large-scale digital transformation and data governance. Computer Arabia highlighted that the collaboration will allow enterprises to meet increasing regulatory requirements while preparing their data environments for future AI-driven innovation.
As part of the initiative, both companies will jointly conduct workshops, executive roundtables, and modernization assessments to support Qatari organizations in evaluating their readiness for data governance and enterprise modernization
