Dell Technologies has opened its first Merge and Fulfillment Center in Saudi Arabia, located in Dammam. The facility is designed to handle up to 600,000 units annually across Dell’s product lines, meeting growing customer demand. It also includes a second touch manufacturing facility for the customization of Dell’s servers, ensuring they meet specific customer needs, reducing time-to-market, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
In addition, Dell has moved its Flat Panel Monitor Hub to the Dammam center, allowing for local deliveries within two days to improve lead times and operational efficiency. This new facility is Dell’s fifth in the EMEA region and represents a strategic investment in Saudi Arabia’s ICT ecosystem, supporting the country’s Vision 2030.
The opening of the hub will create new job opportunities in logistics, manufacturing, and technical fields, while also fostering local talent development. Vice Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Eng Haytham Alohali, highlighted the center’s role in strengthening Saudi Arabia’s position as a regional hub for logistics and innovation.
Adrian McDonald, President – EMEA of Dell Technologies, emphasized the company’s commitment to Saudi Vision 2030, utilizing Dell’s extensive supply chain expertise, investments in local infrastructure, and training to empower Saudi businesses in a digital-first economy. The Dammam facility will also work with local channel partners to streamline product distribution and will offer specialized training programs to upskill the Saudi workforce in technology and supply chain management.
