On February 7, President Anura Kumara Dissanayake launched three key digital initiatives aimed at accelerating Sri Lanka’s digital transformation. The initiatives include GovPay, a digital payment platform for government services, the expansion of President’s Fund services to Divisional Secretariats, and the eBMD system, which allows for the issuance of birth, marriage, and death certificates through Sri Lankan embassies.
