Zain KSA has successfully completed a comprehensive digital transformation program in collaboration with Netcracker Technology. The project, which involved a large-scale BSS/OSS transformation, was completed in less than three years. This transformation is a significant step towards enhancing customer experiences and scaling Zain KSA’s business ecosystem, including fintech, IoT, and cloud computing services.
The cloud-based BSS/OSS system now in place has already demonstrated operational efficiencies, reducing product development time and customer line activation time by 50%. This transformation is part of Zain KSA’s strategy to support a fully digital journey for its customers, leveraging AI-driven IT solutions based on the Netcracker Digital Platform. The move aligns with the Kingdom’s broader Vision 2030 and its push for nationwide digital transformation.
Eng. Maha Al Qernas, Executive VP of Information Technology at Zain KSA, highlighted that the transformation is crucial for enhancing Zain’s 5G capabilities and creating innovative use cases for customers.
