The Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) has unveiled the official agenda for the inaugural Dubai AI Week, scheduled from April 21-25. Under the patronage of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the DFF, the event aims to showcase Dubai’s position as a global hub for artificial intelligence (AI) innovation.
Organized by the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence and overseen by DFF, Dubai AI Week will bring together AI leaders, innovators, decision-makers, and industry experts from more than 100 countries. The event aims to foster global collaboration and highlight AI’s transformative role in revolutionizing government services, accelerating economic growth, and preparing societies for the future.
Mohammad Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees at DFF, emphasized that Dubai has become a global destination for AI innovation. “Dubai AI Week is a major milestone in our mission to accelerate AI adoption across government sectors and industries, turning AI potential into tangible real-world impact,” he said.
Al Gergawi also noted that the event would be a platform for global collaboration, with participation from national and international governments. It will offer valuable opportunities to exchange expertise and explore the role of emerging technologies in supporting economic and social progress.
The event features a packed schedule of high-profile events, including summits, hackathons, exhibitions, and global competitions. Key events include the AI Retreat at the Museum of the Future, the Dubai Assembly for AI, the Global Prompt Engineering Championship, the Machines Can See Summit, the Dubai AI Festival, and the Dubai AI Hackathon: Agentic AI.
Over 10,000 AI experts and participants are expected to attend, with more than 180 speakers, 150 sessions, and 140 activations. Major global tech companies such as Google, Microsoft, Meta, IBM, and Swift, along with 15 country delegations, will showcase their latest AI innovations.
Dubai AI Week has secured strategic partnerships with leading organizations including Digital Dubai Authority, DEWA, the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, and the UAE AI Office. This year’s event also includes numerous opportunities for local and international partnerships, driving further advancements in AI across various sectors.
The AI Retreat, scheduled for April 21 at the Museum of the Future, will host over 100 leaders, decision-makers, and tech experts to discuss AI challenges, applications, and opportunities. Another key event, the Dubai Assembly for AI, will take place from April 21-25 at Emirates Towers, hosting more than 2,500 global AI leaders.
Additionally, the Global Prompt Engineering Championship will bring together 24 finalists from 3,800 applicants to compete for AED 1 million in prizes across art, gaming, coding, and video categories.
Other significant events include the Dubai AI Festival (April 23-24), the Machines Can See Summit (April 23-24), the 8th International Conference on Education Quality (April 22-24), and the HIMSS Executive Summit (April 23). The Dubai AI Hackathon, on April 25, will challenge innovators to create autonomous AI agents capable of solving real-world problems.
