Oman Unveils Digital Platform at Expo 2025 Osaka to Showcase Innovation and Heritage

A cutting-edge digital platform has been integrated into the Sultanate of Oman’s pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, Japan. Developed by the Omani company “YouVerse,” the platform aims to offer visitors an immersive virtual experience that connects them to Oman’s rich heritage while highlighting its future aspirations through advanced technologies.

Ibrahim Saif Bani Araba, Assistant Director-General of the Directorate-General of Arts at the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, and a member of the Technical Committee for Oman’s pavilion at Expo 2025, confirmed that the platform combines extended reality (XR) and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. The project, developed by a team of Omani innovators, reflects Oman’s forward-thinking vision and openness to embracing advanced technology.

In a statement to the Oman News Agency, Bani Araba described the platform as more than just an exhibition; it’s a gateway to Oman’s limitless potential. “It offers an entry point into an AI-powered environment where heritage meets innovation and tradition seamlessly blends with progress,” he said. He also emphasized that this initiative aligns with Oman Vision 2040, aiming for sustainable growth, technological leadership, and global influence, symbolizing a bold step that fuses Oman’s rich legacy with its promising future.
