The Saudi Digital Library, part of the Ministry of Education, offers access to 169 databases across various academic fields, serving researchers, students, and educators throughout the Kingdom. Public and private universities, as well as scholarship students, benefit from the library’s comprehensive digital services, which are rapidly expanding in size and scope.
With a goal of becoming the largest digital knowledge repository in the Middle East, the library currently houses over 446,000 digital books, 60,000 scientific journals, 6.5 million research and conference papers, 5.2 million university theses, and 3.1 million scientific reports. Additionally, it provides access to 461,000 multimedia resources, including images and scientific films, as well as over 12 million scientific topics within its information assets.
To date, more than 65 institutions have benefited from the library’s services, with over 2.2 million individuals using the platform for academic and research purposes. The library continues to enhance its digital offerings, supporting the Kingdom’s education and research initiatives.
