Sidra Medicine, a member of Qatar Foundation, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Vitafluence.ai GmbH, based in Germany, and its Swiss venture studio, EmpathicAI.Life. The agreement marks the beginning of a three-year collaboration aimed at advancing AI-driven healthcare solutions and fostering innovation within Sidra Medicine’s academic medical ecosystem.
The MoU establishes a framework for joint initiatives focused on the development of AI-powered digital health solutions to support clinical decision-making and personalize patient care. The partnership will explore pilot programs, knowledge exchange, and the co-development of AI applications such as predictive modeling, AI-assisted diagnostics, and customized treatment pathways.
The agreement was signed by Dr. Iyabo Tinubu-Karch, CEO of Sidra Medicine, and Dr. Peter O. Owotoki, Co-Founder of Vitafluence.ai. The ceremony was attended by H.E. Florence Tinguely Mattli, Ambassador of Switzerland to Qatar, alongside key figures from Sidra Medicine and the Swiss Business Hub Middle East-Qatar.
Dr. Iyabo Tinubu-Karch emphasized the importance of incorporating emerging technologies into Sidra Medicine’s approach to diagnostics, treatment, and patient care, noting that the partnership with Vitafluence.ai will help explore cutting-edge AI applications that align with Sidra’s mission of delivering world-class precision medicine.
