In line with the Algerian government’s vision for a knowledge-based economy and digital transformation, driven by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, TKAWEN proudly presented a groundbreaking initiative bridging innovation and execution. This opportunity arose from a gracious invitation coordinated by Mr. Nouri Moussa, a member of the High Council of Youth representing El Tarf, resulting in a pivotal meeting with the Minister of Youth and the President of the High Council of Youth.
During this esteemed gathering, I, as the founder of TKAWEN, had the honor of presenting the TKAWEN project and Algeria Certify platform—a national initiative designed to redefine the intersection of certification, identity, and trust within Algeria’s digital ecosystem.
TKAWEN: From University Concept to National Digital Infrastructure
Over the years, TKAWEN has developed into an integrated engineering system offering training services, digital certification, and secure credential generation. Born at Badji Mokhtar University of Annaba and officially recognized under Ministerial Decree 1275, the platform holds three innovation labels: Innovative Project, Startup, and Certified Innovation. It connects interactive learning, electronic verification, and professional classification through a unified interface that benefits all stakeholders.
The meeting went beyond a mere presentation, reflecting a strategic turning point. We encountered an unprecedented level of engagement from the Minister, who demonstrated humility and vision. Our concerns about legal, accreditation, and administrative challenges were addressed with great seriousness, and the Minister committed to bringing these matters to the Presidency for further resolution.
A Collaborative Transition: From Youth Ministry to Knowledge Economy
The positive momentum continued in a follow-up meeting with the Minister of Knowledge Economy and Startups, where we received full support for our vision. We discussed the architecture of the TKAWEN system and its potential to contribute to the development of a national digital trust infrastructure, creating a sovereign alternative to existing gaps in accreditation, verification, and professional classification.
The Minister emphasized the importance of backing initiatives like TKAWEN, which address challenges with comprehensive systems. He also encouraged the integration of our platform into the national digital economy strategy.
A New National Architecture: Connecting Citizens, Institutions, and the State
What TKAWEN proposes is more than just a technical product—it is a strategic vision for a sovereign Algerian digital system. Digital certificates, in this vision, are not endpoints but starting points for building a knowledge- and trust-based economy. TKAWEN aims to connect citizens, institutions, and the state through a secure, globally-aligned, and locally-rooted information system, offering a clear pathway for skilled individuals to gain verified credibility within a professional framework.
Empowering Youth: The State as a Platform for Innovation
At TKAWEN, we believe that the state should not be seen as an obstacle but as a platform that supports youth ambition. Entrepreneurship and innovation, when connected to national priorities, hold the potential to drive lasting change. Through this strategic engagement with key ministries, we have demonstrated that Algeria’s new vision is taking shape—a vision where youthful intellect and state structures align to foster innovation.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Mr. Nouri Moussa for his instrumental role in facilitating this strategic engagement. His commitment to empowering youth-led initiatives is a vital force driving Algeria’s transformation into a knowledge-based economy and digital powerhouse.
TKAWEN: The Future of Certification, Identity, and Trust in Algeria
TKAWEN is not just a platform but a tool to shape the future of Algeria’s digital landscape, ensuring that certificates are not just a formality but a foundation for building trust in both personal and professional realms. TKAWEN is a digital Algeria—worthy of its youth.
