Zoho Partners with Gulf University for Science and Technology to Equip Students with Digital Tools for Business

Zoho, a global technology leader, has partnered with Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST) to provide business students with access to advanced digital tools, preparing them for real-world business applications. This partnership, announced at Zoholics Kuwait, aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical business skills, particularly in finance, accounting, HR, IT, and business management.

Through this collaboration, students at GUST will gain hands-on experience with Zoho’s suite of products, including Zoho CRM for sales and marketing, Zoho Books for finance, Zoho Creator for low-code app development, and Zoho People for HR management. This integration will ensure students are equipped with both technical proficiency and essential soft skills like problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaboration, which are key for success in today’s fast-paced workplace.

Saran B. Paramasivam, Zoho’s Regional Director for the Middle East and Africa (MEA), expressed excitement about the partnership, emphasizing that it will give students a significant edge in the workforce by applying theoretical knowledge in practical settings. He added that the collaboration aligns with Zoho’s “transnational localism” strategy and supports the company’s growth in Kuwait, where there is significant potential for digital transformation.

Dr. Jean-Paul M. Arnaout, Dean of the College of Business Administration at GUST, highlighted that the integration of Zoho’s solutions into the curriculum ensures that students graduate with hands-on experience using tools widely adopted in the business world. He also expressed gratitude for Zoho’s support in training faculty to seamlessly incorporate these tools into the academic program.

This initiative builds on Zoho’s ongoing efforts to foster digital transformation in education across the Middle East, with similar programs already established in the UAE, Bahrain, and KSA. By equipping students and professionals with the tools needed for the digital economy, Zoho is helping to bridge the skills gap and supporting the region’s ambitious economic transformation agendas.

Zoho’s products, including Zoho CRM, Zoho People, Zoho Books, and Zoho Creator, are designed with Arabic UI support, Right-to-Left (RTL) capabilities, and regional payment gateway integrations, making them ideal for the MENA region’s digital needs.
