Algeria has unveiled a new secure digital platform to streamline the regularization of agricultural land, aiming to modernize land governance and enhance coordination between local and central authorities.
Developed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development, and Fisheries, the password-protected system will be accessible only to wilaya commissions under the direct oversight of regional governors. Its core function is to improve real-time communication and swiftly resolve administrative hurdles.
A recent national commission review found that 75% of previously reported land regularization obstacles can now be addressed efficiently through this digital platform—marking a major leap in Algeria’s agricultural reform efforts.
