Roya Media Group has entered into a strategic content distribution agreement with UAE-based 1001 OPS, operator of Iraq’s popular 1001 streaming platform, to enhance digital entertainment offerings in Jordan and Iraq through mutual content sharing.
Under the partnership, Roya will provide exclusive access to its premium digital channels and original productions on 1001’s streaming service, while 1001 will supply exclusive series and popular content to Roya’s streaming platform, roya.tv.
Fares Sayegh, CEO of Roya Media Group, emphasized that the collaboration reflects their commitment to delivering locally relevant, engaging content and expanding their digital presence across the region.
To comply with territorial rights, Roya’s content will be exclusively available on 1001.tv within Iraq, ensuring content protection and audience targeting.
This agreement highlights both companies’ dedication to innovation and cross-border collaboration in the fast-growing MENA media landscape, aiming to offer viewers rich regional storytelling and diverse entertainment experiences.
