Kuwait’s leading on-demand platform talabat has marked a new milestone in its commitment to youth empowerment and digital transformation with the graduation of the second cohort of Academy X, the country’s largest women’s empowerment initiative in technology and entrepreneurship. The program, led by CODED Academy and sponsored by talabat, reflects the company’s mission to drive innovation, advance digital literacy, and support the New Kuwait Vision 2035.
The 2025 edition’s second cohort brought together Kuwaiti female students aged 14–18, who successfully developed and presented over 50 innovative tech projects. Their work demonstrated skills in artificial intelligence, app and web development, UI/UX design, entrepreneurship, leadership, and soft skills, equipping them to thrive in the future digital economy.
Commitment to Empowering Youth and Women
Commenting on the achievement, Bader Al-Ghanim, Vice President and Managing Director of talabat Kuwait, praised the participants’ dedication and highlighted talabat’s role in supporting girls in STEM. “We are committed to ensuring they have the resources to succeed as future tech leaders, contributing to Kuwait’s technology and innovation ecosystem,” he said.
Hashim Behbehani, Co-founder and COO of CODED, added: “Talabat’s ongoing support plays an integral role in the success of Academy X and its impact on young women. Partnerships like this show the unity needed for our society and economy to compete globally.”
