Zain Jordan Launches AI Bootcamp to Foster Youth Innovation and Startup Growth

Zain Jordan, through its innovation platform ZINC, has partnered with Nokia and Al-Balqa Applied University, with knowledge transfer support from Kawkab.ai, to launch the AI Bootcamp at ZINC’s headquarters in King Hussein Business Park. The five-day program, inaugurated on Sunday by Nokia Jordan General Manager Eng. Modar Ghaleb Al-Zoubi, aims to accelerate AI-driven innovation among Jordanian youth.

From more than 450 applicants, 70 young men and women were selected based on criteria such as team size, feasibility and quality of ideas, technical background, and AI programming skills. Participants will gain access to advanced AI tools, mentorship from local and international experts, and hands-on training focused on product development—from ideation to final presentations.

The initiative is designed to nurture entrepreneurial talent and promote Jordan as a regional hub for innovation and technology. ZINC said the program’s goal is to develop at least 20 minimum viable AI-powered products, laying the groundwork for future startups that can contribute to digital transformation and economic growth.
