CASHPLUS, a leading Moroccan fintech, has partnered with global payments giant PayPal to launch instant digital withdrawals in Moroccan Dirhams (MAD) via the CASHPLUS mobile app. This makes CASHPLUS the first and only provider in Morocco offering fully digital PayPal cash-outs, eliminating the need for branch visits, paperwork, or intermediaries.
The service is designed to empower freelancers, entrepreneurs, creators, and e-commerce sellers, who can now withdraw PayPal funds instantly and manage both local and international finances from a single app.
Otto Williams, PayPal’s Senior VP for MEA, said the partnership reflects PayPal’s vision of making financial services digital-first, inclusive, and accessible. Nabil Amar, President of CASHPLUS Group, emphasized that the initiative marks a milestone in democratizing access to global financial services for Morocco’s digital generation.
With Morocco’s digital payments market forecast to grow from USD 14.29 billion in 2025 to over USD 35 billion by 2030, this collaboration directly supports the National Financial Inclusion Strategy, which aims to integrate 75% of adults into the formal financial system by 2030.
