Tamkeen Announces Bahrain’s Pavilion at GITEX Global 2025

Manama — The Labour Fund (Tamkeen) has announced the organization of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Pavilion at GITEX Global 2025, one of the world’s largest technology exhibitions, taking place in Dubai, UAE, from October 13–17, 2025.

The pavilion will showcase 14 Bahraini technology startups and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) from across the ICT sector, alongside the Economic Development Board (EDB) and ARRAY Innovations, representing Bahrain’s growing digital and innovation ecosystem.

Tamkeen emphasized that participation in GITEX Global provides Bahraini enterprises with a valuable international platform to present their projects, build global partnerships, and explore expansion opportunities. The event also enables participants to connect with investors and customers, exchange knowledge with global experts, and enhance their competitiveness on an international stage.

“Through initiatives like this, Tamkeen continues to empower Bahraini businesses to compete globally and strengthen their contribution to the national economy,” the organization said in a statement. “Such participation reflects Bahrain’s commitment to fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and digital transformation.”

At GITEX Global 2024, Bahraini companies achieved notable success — the pavilion attracted widespread interest, resulting in the signing of seven agreements between Bahraini enterprises and regional and international partners.

Tamkeen’s support for GITEX Global 2025 aligns with its strategic priorities for 2025, which include:

  • Enhancing the competitiveness of Bahraini talent in the private sector.
  • Promoting enterprise growth, sustainability, and digital transformation.
  • Supporting the ecosystem surrounding the labor market and private enterprises.

The initiative reinforces Tamkeen’s role in driving Bahrain’s innovation agenda, supporting the growth of the Kingdom’s ICT sector, and positioning Bahraini startups and SMEs as active players in the global digital economy.
