Batelco Enhances Digital Experience with Integration of Bahrain’s eKey 2.0 System

MANAMA – October 27, 2025: Batelco by Beyon has announced the integration of Bahrain’s national eKey 2.0 digital identity system into the Batelco App, becoming the first telecom provider in the Kingdom to offer biometric identity verification for new mobile line subscriptions directly within its platform.

With this upgrade, customers can now verify their identity instantly through eKey 2.0, eliminating the need to scan ID cards or complete manual verification steps.
