Ooredoo Group has announced a strategic collaboration with Aduna, the global Network API aggregator, to make its standardized telecom APIs available to enterprises across the MENA region and beyond via a single unified platform.
Through this partnership, businesses such as banks, fintechs, e-commerce platforms, and digital service providers can seamlessly integrate Ooredoo’s APIs — including identity verification, SIM swap, KYC, payments, and communications — to enable secure and scalable cross-border digital transactions without complex integrations or multiple local contracts.
“This collaboration turns network intelligence into practical business value,” said Rene Werner, Group Chief Strategy Officer and Acting Group Chief Commercial Officer at Ooredoo. “Companies can now plug Ooredoo APIs directly into their systems to deliver faster, safer, and more innovative digital services to customers worldwide.”
The initiative builds on Ooredoo’s involvement with the GSMA’s CAMARA project, which establishes global standards for open telecom APIs. By connecting Ooredoo’s API suite to Aduna’s global aggregation platform, the partnership transforms these standards into operational, interoperable business tools. Gradual onboarding of Ooredoo operating companies into Aduna’s ecosystem will continue through 2027.
Anthony Bartolo, CEO of Aduna, added: “Aduna was built to help telecom operators like Ooredoo monetize standardization. This partnership allows global businesses to innovate faster and at greater scale by tapping into Ooredoo’s advanced API capabilities through a single global distribution channel.”
This collaboration strengthens Ooredoo’s position in the global API economy — unlocking new revenue streams and supporting its mission to enrich digital life across markets spanning the Middle East, North Africa, and Southeast Asia.
