Egypt has concluded the 29th Cairo Information and Communications Technology (ICT) exhibition, held from November 16–19 under the theme “AI Everywhere.” Hosted at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in New Cairo, the event brought together more than 500 exhibitors—including ministries, national institutions and global tech companies—to showcase advancements in AI, 5G, cybersecurity, cloud services, smart infrastructure and digital education.
Media director Mohamed Lotfy said the exhibition has become a key annual platform for government agencies, banks, telecom operators and technology leaders to unveil innovations and form partnerships. This year’s edition featured over 90 discussion sessions with nearly 500 speakers and concluded with around 27 major agreements.
Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly inaugurated the event, emphasising the strategic role of the ICT sector in driving job creation, exports and economic growth.
During the exhibition, Minister of Communications and IT Amr Talaat announced that Egypt will soon roll out its national digital ID along with 45 new online government services covering commercial registry, notarization, personal status and social insurance. He highlighted continued investments in AI-enabled public services and digital infrastructure as core pillars of Egypt’s digital transformation strategy
