beIN Secures Long-Term Extension of NBA Broadcast Rights Across MENA

beIN Media Group has renewed its long-standing partnership with the NBA, extending exclusive broadcast rights across the Middle East and North Africa. The renewed agreement — announced in Doha — preserves a collaboration that began in 2008 and ensures fans in 23 countries continue to enjoy extensive NBA coverage on beIN Sports and TOD.

Under the new deal, beIN will air up to nine regular-season NBA games each week in Arabic, English and French, along with full rights to the NBA Playoffs, Conference Finals and the NBA Finals. Coverage will be available on beIN’s linear sports channels and its OTT platform, TOD.

Mohammad Al-Subaie, CEO of beIN MENA, said the NBA partnership is one of the most significant in the group’s portfolio, reinforcing its position as a global destination for premium sports content. Matt Brabants, NBA senior vice-president of international content partnerships, noted that the renewed agreement will continue providing fans with “unprecedented access” through live games, highlights and original programming.

Earlier this year, beIN also renewed its NBA rights in France, where it has been the official broadcaster since 2012. The MENA extension further strengthens beIN’s long-term commitment to bringing world-class basketball to audiences across multiple languages and platforms.
