Superchat Launches “Shop Anything,” Bringing Conversational Commerce to the UAE

UAE-born AI assistant Superchat has launched Shop Anything, a new feature that allows users to find, compare, and purchase products from any public online store directly through chat. Rolling out this month to beta users on WhatsApp, the feature marks a step forward in conversational commerce, enabling everyday shopping to be completed through a single conversation.

Shop Anything builds on Superchat’s growing suite of tools, which already includes Ask, Find, Research, Create, Organize, Manage, and Automate. Instead of switching between apps and browser tabs, users can simply send a message, allowing the assistant to search the internet, compare prices, suggest alternatives, and complete checkout within the same chat.

Designed for the UAE’s fast-paced, digitally mature lifestyle, Superchat fits naturally into a market where messaging platforms already underpin daily activities, from coordination and payments to planning and purchases. Early testing saw the platform surpass 2,000 users overnight, highlighting demand for AI that delivers real-world assistance beyond text generation.

Mohammad Abu Sheikh, Chairman of Superchat, said the platform removes the friction of app overload by bringing multiple daily tasks into one WhatsApp number, enabling users to manage reminders, errands, shopping, and scheduling in a single moment.

Superchat’s modular architecture allows new capabilities to be added quickly, with upcoming features set to include travel bookings, restaurant reservations, and a built-in payment wallet. The assistant is currently available as a WhatsApp-based beta, with early access open to users across the UAE.
