Charikaty Launches Morocco’s First Fully Digital Platform for Company Formation

Charikaty, founded in 2024 by Amr Mouaqit and Driss Sijelmassi, is Morocco’s first fully digital legaltech platform for company creation and business lifecycle services. The startup aims to simplify and accelerate company formation for entrepreneurs by eliminating bureaucratic friction that often slows the process in emerging markets.

After raising $150,000 during Season 3 of Qui Veut Investir Dans Mon Projet?, with backing from investors Ilan Benhaim and Karim Amor, Charikaty also participated in the Plug and Play accelerator program to strengthen its regional expansion strategy.

The platform offers an end-to-end digital solution, allowing founders to manage incorporation, registered agent services, virtual addresses, accounting, tax compliance, company modifications, trademark registration, and legal document templates—all from a single interface. By centralizing legal and administrative needs, Charikaty reduces dependency on fragmented offline networks and creates a recurring, software-led business model.

Charikaty targets three customer segments: first-time founders in Morocco and the diaspora, existing SMEs needing ongoing compliance services, and ecosystem partners like incubators, fintechs, and banks. The startup also focuses on building digital trust among entrepreneurs, convincing them that online services can be faster, more reliable, and more transparent than traditional intermediaries.

Looking ahead, Charikaty plans to expand internationally, starting with Egypt, and aims to become the default legal infrastructure for SMEs across multiple emerging markets by 2030.
