Najm for Insurance Services Company (Najm) has announced a new telematics initiative aimed at improving road safety in Saudi Arabia. Partnering with Cambridge Mobile Telematics (CMT) and AiGeNiX, the initiative will leverage advanced mobility analytics technologies to encourage safer driving practices.
The collaboration involves using CMT’s AI-driven DriveWell Fusion® platform and AiGeNiX’s analytics expertise to analyze advanced driving data, providing actionable insights to reduce accidents and enhance road safety. The initiative includes the installation of smart devices in vehicles to measure driving behavior such as speed, acceleration, braking, handling turns, and adherence to traffic regulations.
Senior executives from Najm, CMT, and AiGeNiX, alongside leaders from the insurance industry, participated in the signing ceremony held at the Mövenpick Hotel Riyadh.
Key Components of the Initiative:
- Advanced Data Analysis: Collecting and analyzing driving data to evaluate drivers’ risk levels.
- Smart Devices: Measuring driving elements to encourage safer practices.
- Training Programs: Providing training opportunities for SMEs and government officials in the Ad-Dakhiliyah Governorate.
- Rewards System: Offering drivers rewards and discounts based on their driving habits.
