RIYADH — The Saudi Digital Government Authority (DGA) has released the 2024 results of the Digital Experience Maturity Index, showcasing an impressive achievement with an 85.04 percent rating at an “advanced” level.
The assessment encompassed 39 digital platforms and was based on four critical perspectives covering 20 themes, including user satisfaction measured through feedback from over 175,000 participants, user experience evaluation, and effectiveness in handling user complaints.
DGA Governor, Eng. Ahmed Al-Suwaian, emphasized that the index is designed to boost user satisfaction and enhance digital experiences, aiming to elevate Saudi Arabia’s position in global rankings and fast-track digital transformation initiatives. He highlighted the consistent improvement in index results as a testament to the substantial efforts by government entities to enhance their digital services.
The detailed index results revealed top performance from ten platforms, all achieving advanced levels. Notable platforms included Tawakkalna at 91.29%, the General Authority for Social Insurance at 91.18%, and ZATCA with 90.42%. Other high achievers were Absher at 90.39%, Ehsan at 90.27%, and Etimad at 90.21%.
Significant in this year’s index, the Digital Government Authority refined the methodology for evaluating digital platforms. This revision involved updating the main perspectives, axes, and criteria for assessing digital maturity, ensuring a comprehensive coverage of the digital experience and adjusting the criteria for prioritizing platforms to include more entities in each evaluation cycle. This strategic update aims to expand the scope and impact of the index, reflecting the dynamic progress in Saudi Arabia’s digital governance.
