Egyptian startup Brotinni, a pioneer in food-tech and dark butcher solutions, has successfully obtained additional funding from Entilaq, aimed at bolstering its expansion both within Egypt and internationally. Founded by Dalia Abou Omar in late 2020, Brotinni specializes in providing hand-cut, farm-sourced, and vacuum-sealed fresh meat and poultry, along with flash-frozen and ready-to-cook options, delivered directly to customers via its own fleet.
The company, which launched its first warehouse in Cairo to ensure efficient product flow and rapid delivery, represents the first “dark butchery” model in Egypt and the MENA region. Having raised $600,000 in seed funding in November 2022, this latest financial injection from Entilaq will support Brotinni’s ongoing growth and increase its market presence across the region.
